A little bit about me...
Hello, I’m Emma, the girl behind the camera at Emma Dickinson Photography.
I am a budding young photographer who has grown up in the stunning surroundings of the Lake District in Cumbria. My current home, nestled in a quaint village just outside the historic town of Kirkby Lonsdale has taught me to appreciate and capture the small and intricate details of nature’s beauty- an asset of my photography, which I believe to be unteachable.
In 2009, I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a first class honours degree in Photography. After finishing my studies I traveled and lived in New Zealand where I furthered my appreciation of photography in the most natural of environments. I’m a country girl but love visiting new places and being able to observe and photograph people in their own surroundings.
My natural style of photography is inspired by my love for working on location. I relish opportunities to photograph people in their most comfortable surroundings where I believe I can capture the entire essence of a scene; wedding, portrait and boudoir photography can be injected with emotion, expression and often-unnoticed detail to make your most special memories completely unforgettable.
In business, I strongly believe photographs can sell. I am a personable character and love to work closely with my clients on interiors, exteriors and landscapes to ensure a great visual counterpart to any website or brochure.
Do not hesitate to contact me for any information or just a chat. I’d love to hear from you,
Emma x
